i love thanksgiving..

pretty much one of the best holidays in my opinion.. and this was probably one of the funnest i've ever had. my older brother and sister and their spouses came to my house and with my sister came my niece and nephew, the two cutest kids ever :] anyways..break was good and of course i took some photos, so here they are.

cold and foggy..

i don't know why...but on one of the coldest days in the fog i decided to go and take pictures. it was COLD....... and that's pretty much all i have to say. oh and my shoes got dirty..

bored..

so i was reading up on depth of field, and decided to have fun with it. so i grabbed my 50mm f/1.8 and took pictures of......mandy..my dog. anyways..i think i achieved what i wanted the best in this first one, so i'm happy. the last one just cracks me up. it was a looooooonng yawn.

tri-cities with darren & alyssa..

so yesterday Darren and i went to tri-cities with the lovely Alyssa and had a little photoshoot. we had tons of fun and each came up with some good shots. it was a little hard for me just cause i'd never done a portrait shoot like this and i'm also trying to get comfortable with my camera, but i definitely learned a ton. here's a few of my photos, and more can be found on my Flickr Page.
